August 22, 2011
Thomas from Fanatec has posted a short comparison on the Iracing forums.... here it is:

  • different rims will be available from 150 USD upwards
  • metal base as seen in video

  • supports additional axis, encoder switches etc.

Fanatec Clubsport wheel price confirmed

August 20, 2011
Yes that is right the wheel is confirmed at $450 and Euros: 450. Seems pretty expensive to me. Their was also news each wheel rim will cost between 150-300. Which again is again rather expensive.
Tomas also confirmed that ther is an option of adding static shifter pedals for rallying which is a great idea.
The wheel itself looks great and the see through casing is a great touch.
In my opinion they haven't perfected the wheels quick release system and the quick bit of gameplay on F1 2011 showed t...

Carrera Wheel

August 19, 2011

The Carrera Wheel from Fanatec is a great value for money option... the package includes a 6 speed shifter... a sequential shifter a pedal set including the clutch and of course the wheel. The package is great, the only thing that anyone can complain about is the pedals which arent great in terms of feel. They are nothing like the clubsports however this is expected when the whole package including the wheel comes at the same price as just the clubsport pedals.
Value for money wise i would rec...

GT3 RS Review

August 19, 2011

The GT3 RS is the best wheel out their in my opinion. The belt driven force feedback is smooth and contains zero lag. The wheel has a luxurious feel due to the alacantara leather and the porsche badge gives it a premium feel.
If you don't have a budget this is the wheel for you.

 Features

Fanatec’s Porsche 911 Turbo wheel was already a first step in Fanatec’s approach to gain market share in the Logitech-controlled field of racing wheels. The GT3 RS wheel and the Clubsport pedals are a diffe...

Turbo Review

August 19, 2011

The turbo wheel is great it is not as good as the other fanatec wheels but for its time it was great. Now it is a bit outdated.
If you´re one of those sim racers using both the PC and gaming consoles to race, you´ll probably know the problem – No steering wheel fits all.

This changes now as Fanatec’s Porsche 911 Turbo S Wheel is the first simulation-grade steering wheel to be compatible to both the PC, the Playstation 3 and Microsoft’s Xbox 360.

Can Fanatec’s new universal weapon live...

GT2 Review

August 19, 2011
The GT2 wheel an upmarket wheel from Fanatec. It is like most of the other fanatecs made out of Alcantara. It has the Fanatec belt driven FFB system. It does everything the GT3 RS does however this wheel is xbox compatible.

What happens if the most sought-after features of all their wheels are melt into one single product? Read the Porsche 911 GT2 wheel review to find out.

Back in early 2009, Fanatec announced the Porsche 911 GT3 RS wheel, offering the first-ever mass market steering ...
